OUR JOURNEY STARTED HERE; Rookery Manor award winning venue hosted an evening showcase and opened the new Civil Marriage room, Thursday 13th November 2008.
Rookery Manor was privileged to have the company of Weston-super-Mare Town Mayor Andrew Horler and Mayoress Camilla de Bernhardt Dunkin; Andrew Horler made a beautiful speech, and in true style cut the red ribbon opening the Rose Room; making it available to those looking for the most perfect Civil Wedding setting.
Camilla de Bernhart, said; “Rookery Manor Wedding Venue is like being part of a drama unfolding; wherever you go or which ever corner you walk down, the feeling you experience and scenes you see are all very dramatic!”
The Rose Room has been adapted from its original Gazebo form and metamorphosed into a 110 seat stunning glass dome; making it one of the most romantic creations and Civil Marriage rooms’ in England. It is located close to the garden, lake, walkways, car-park, function suites, restaurant and hotel accommodation; making it ideally situated to all of Rookery Manor’s amenities. The Rose Room is also perfect for delightful, intimate winter weddings.
Rookery Manor welcomed bibic as the chosen charity for the opening and was delighted to have the presence of Nick Tolley, local wedding photographer on hand to capture and expose the evening’s events.
