Monday 18th August 2008 witnessed the launch of a new route to market for Rookery Manor/Rookery Manor Weddings: An outdoor advertising campaign - The Rookery Manor Bus.
First Bus will be wrapped in true Rookery Manor style for a period of 12 months.
Rookery Manor’s Bus will be on a Bristol route, hitting the centre of Bristol a minimum of 20 times in a 16 hour operational day; therefore, the Rookery Manor Bus will be seen by everyone living in Bristol and the surrounding areas at least once during our twelve month campaign.
We feel that buses have fantastic scope for eye-catching design as well as the ability to showcase our brand message/s to our potential clients on the move across the South of England - Bristol.
Outdoors advertising will complete and complement our brand message: topping up radio, newspaper, magazine, Internet (website), word-of-mouth advertising. This year Rookery Manor has advertised on Taunton radio (Orchard FM), local newspapers and heavily on the Internet via venue finders.
The economic climate has been predominately unsteady, the impact and risks arising from uncontrolled climate change is unknown; therefore we want to forge ahead, ensuring our route to market is much more dominant, strategic and powerful.
Bristol is an affluent city, which we have never truly exploited. Although our Rookery Manor Wedding team book on average 5% weddings from Bristol year on year, many Bristolians, have not heard of us - Unbelievable!
Bring back, “On the Buses” - remember; Blakey, “I ‘ate you Butler”? I can’t imagine, Blakey, Stan or Jake in a Chauffeurs uniform, let alone driving around in a wrapped bus! Surely buses are red and green? The 21st Century has put paid to red and green buses, they are now wrapped up, glittering in moving advertising campaigns.
Like many blue chip companies Rookery Manor is disbanding the red & green image and painting a new picture; The Rookery Manor Wedding Picture.
