Many thanks to Ian and yourself, Nicky for a wonderful evening at TRUFFLES last Wednesday (28th May 2008), myself and Matt had a very enjoyable evening.

a. Evening - Very enjoyable, welcomed promptly by Ian and a glass of champagne! Great atmosphere, relaxed and informal, attentive staff.

b. Food - 9/10. Well presented. Fantastic lamb skewer starter. Beautifully cooked Duck, wonderful Steak, lovely vegetables. Only one negative (not too keen on the mushroom sauce, too many straw mushrooms and not enough ‘sauce’!). Chocolate pot and crème brulee were a great finish to a wonderful meal.

c. Service - checked everything was o.k. with meals. Relaxed and friendly approach. (perfect).

d. Staff - Attentive, friendly, efficient, welcoming, smiling!
